Nothing without Christ....
This Scripture is practically cliche now, it is so often quoted. But what exactly does it mean?
Harsh criticism often makes me feel like I am "nothing"--and so I turn to the Lord, and then I realize that I am a person Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior has saved, bought with a price, redeemed, and cleansed by His blood. He did all these things when He knew me inside out. Actually, despite knowing me inside out.
So when I say the Lord Jesus is my Anchor, I mean just that. I would float down into the depths of the deep blue sea if I did not keep my eyes and mind fixed on Him. He makes me realize that because of Him, I am worthwhile.
So I am everything with Christ.
